Today was a chill day at the house. We decided it would be a much needed rest day after two big days of adventuring and we were right.
Jacob and I spent a big chunk of time just sitting by the pool, soaking in the California warmth.
The house here has such a beautiful yard.. I had been looking forward to spending time in it.
After lunch it was time to get in the pool. Jacob and mom watched from the comfort of their chairs. John, Richard and I got in.
The pool is not heated so it took a little time to adjust but with temperatures close to 80 it was soon very refreshing.
Bees kept swimming into the pool and I tried my best to save them from drowning.
After several hours of pool time it was time to dry off.
The parents went off to meet up with some friends in Orange and we were left alone to figure out dinner. We ordered from Burrito Brothers and enjoyed some great Mexican food.
We are now chilling on the couch. Jacob’s got some football on the TV. We are planning our Disneyland route tomorrow. Jacob and I just have one day so we are planning to get in a full day. Everyone else has tickets for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Tuesday, Jacob and I plan to explore more of LA and maybe stop by the beach. On Wednesday we will be leaving pretty early to get to the airport. Our flight leaves at 1:40 on Wednesday then we will be home with Oscar.
We are so thankful for our cat sitters! It helps us be able to relax and enjoy our trip.
